Advice
Many wristwatches have the words "Water Resist" or "Waterproof" written on the dial or face. Water Resistant watches are tested to remain watertight at a depth of 1 m. for 30 minutes and for 90 seconds at 20 metres.

Check in the user’s handbook in order to find out the manufacturer’s definition of the concept of '50 metros/ 100 m/ 300m ....'. You’ll probably get quite a surprise because normally this has nothing to do with the real depth of safe submersion in water.

The average service life of a battery is from 12 to 18 months. Their longevity depends on the type of watch, its dimensions and the amount of energy needed for its different functions.
